| Received no service!! |
| I called to make an appointment and they said that no appointment was necessary. Upon our arrival, no one greeted us. After a few minutes, a saleswoman approached us and asked what we wanted. I indicated we were looking for bridal gowns. She responded that there was no one to help us at the moment and we could look around at the rows of dresses. When we began pulling a few dresses of interest, she approached us and asked what we were doing. She then beckoned a young assistant to put the dresses that my maid of honor (who the salesperson repeatedly called 'girl') was carrying into a dressing room. She then went to another customer. When she returned to where I was standing with a few additional dresses, she asked me why I had not followed the assistant to the dressing room. I pointed out that I was a different person than my maid of honor. It appeared that she seemed to feel we were one person because we were both minorities. She then asked to take one of the dresses I had chosen to another customer, stating she would return it promptly. I never got it back. My maid of honor and I then went into the dressing rooms ourselves and received no service. After several minutes, my maid of honor went out to seek assistance. We were told we would be helped 'in a minute.' No one came for appoximately 15 minutes, during which time we did observe a new customer that had just entered the store, being helped. After 15 minutes (45 minutes of being in the store total) a salesperson approached us and we let her know we were leaving. My suggestion would be to avoid the store if you are looking for actual service! |
